On a beautiful Spring day at the Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, NJ, Lauren said "I do" to Lou. Complete with a hilarious and heartfelt speech by the father of the bride, and an emotional first dance for the groom and his mother, there were tears of joy and laughter filling the room. The romantic ceremony was adorned with lush florals and candlelight, while the reception donned vibrant Fuchsia uplighting and a party atmosphere. As their guests danced the night away, Lauren even showed off her pretty impressive moonwalk skills! This wedding was definitely one for the books, and we were so thrilled to have been able to capture their love and commitment to each other on this day.

How it began...
How they met...
We both worked at Sports Authority in 2008. Lou started a week after me, and we worked in the same area, so we spent a lot of time together.
How long they have been together...
Currently 7.5 years! We "officially" started dating December 15, 2008. I was 18 and Lou had just turned 20.
Their Proposal/Engagement Story...
“The day of our 6th anniversary (12/15/14) I honestly was not even considering that
it would happen. (Little did I know, Lou had already spoken with my parents the week prior, and I was sleeping next to my gorgeous engagement ring for a month!) Lou picked me up for dinner and we went to The Chart House in Weehawken as we had done the year before. The weather was warm for December so Lou suggested we walk along the deck after dinner. Turns out he was too nervous to wait so we ordered our appetizer and wine and went for our walk. I was totally oblivious to what was happening and was goofing around until he started hugging me and told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. I’ll admit I was still not sure he was proposing until he actually got on one knee and asked me to marry him. I remember saying yes, crying, and jumping onto him not even looking at my ring. (He could have given me a piece of string and I would have said yes) When I finally looked at my beautiful ring, I was in awe. We were overjoyed and I didn’t know happiness like that until our wedding day! We went back inside to finish dinner and went back to my house after where I was met with another surprise; both of our families were waiting there to celebrate with us. Celebrating with our families, it finally hit me that I would spend the rest of my life with the most incredible man. It was truly an unforgettable night, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!”
