party

Brittany & Jennifer - June 4, 2016

This Disney inspired wedding at Nanina's in the Park was nothing short of magical! Brittany & Jen's fairy tale began with an intimate first look on the balcony that could melt even the coldest of hearts. *If you don't believe me, keep reading for the video clip below. As they said their vows under a beautiful canopy of greenery and white orchids, you could feel their love for each other radiating around them. While the girls were certainly the center of attention, the show was almost stolen by an adorably sleepy ring bearer! Following the ceremony, it was clear that this crew was definitely there to party! They had a GoPro attached to a bottle of fireball that was passed around the reception (wish I could see that footage)! The ring bearer even caught his second wind, changed into his dancing clothes and tore up the dance floor while Brittany & Jen had a friendly cake fight. All in all it was a perfect day for these two, and they lived happily ever after...

A closer look into their fairy tale...

How they met...

Jen and I met when we were about 15 years old. We both played travel softball and were on the same team. We were not friends in the beginning. It actually took us a couple of seasons playing together to really talk! Who knew a sport we both loved would introduce us to our soul mate.

How long they have been together...

We have been together 9 years

Their Engagement story...

Jen had planned an entire day for us. I was not allowed to know any of our plans so every where we went, she blindfolded me. She first took me to the movies to see Fifty Shades of Grey. (I was dying to see it!!). Then she took me to dinner at a restaurant called The Breakers which is right on the ocean. This was the same area we had our first date. Breakers is also the name of our travel softball team! Again blindfolded, she walked me slowly onto the boardwalk right in front of the ocean. I took off the blindfold (when instructed of course) and Jen was down on one knee with a beautiful ring and next to her was a cake with Minnie and Mickey on it and it said "Marry Me?" I am obsessed with Disney so this was absolutely perfect!! We then went back to our apartment and when I walked in the door my entire family was there to celebrate! It could not have been better 😊

Their favorite part of their wedding day...

We both agree it was the prep time leading up to our first reveal. There was just something so exciting just knowing we were both preparing for the most important day of our lives and we were getting ready to see each other. The first reveal was also an amazing part because it was just us. It was a moment that was just for us. While the rest of the day was perfect, it became more about family, friends, and fun while the beginning of that day was just about Jen and I.
